Dr. Patricia Chao earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Texas School of Dentistry. After beginning her career in Chicago, she relocated to Santa Clara and established Chao Dental Studio, where she has served the community for nearly three decades.
Dr. Chao believes that every patient deserves honest, unhurried dental care. She takes time to listen, explain findings in plain language, and collaborate on a treatment plan that respects both clinical needs and personal preferences. This philosophy has earned the trust of generations of families throughout the Santa Clara Valley.
As a Gold Invisalign Provider and chair of the AACA San Jose Clear Aligners Study Club, Dr. Chao remains at the forefront of orthodontic and restorative techniques. Her practice also features CEREC same-day crown technology, laser dentistry, and digital imaging, allowing patients to benefit from the latest advances in dental science.

Beyond the Office
Born and raised in Houston, Dr. Chao moved to California to build her practice and her family. She and her husband Jeffrey have three children. When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Chao enjoys spending time with her family and staying active in the local dental community.
